Inspired by Ancient Greek gymnasiums, “Local Heroes” offers not only exercise for the body but also exercise for the mind.
Edouard Valette pulled some local boxers out of the ring and placed them back in Brussels’ disenfranchised environment in an almost fairytale-like way. The concrete fences and desolate apartment blocks in the background contrast sharply with the colorful outfits designed by Kenza Vandeput-Taleb.
