“Oh, how we danced and we swallowed the night
For it was all ripe for dreaming
Oh, how we danced away
All of the lights
We’ve always been out of our minds”
I’m a filmmaker. I believe that good storytelling is a path to empathy. That is what drives me. My hope is to create films that make people think twice about their biases and maybe see the world a bit differently— to add empathy to the discourse and reduce the broad oversimplification of complex ideas. We are all walking through this world together and our understanding is limited. I think film is a path toward a better world and possibly, a growth of our own understanding.
All of the work you see here I have either directed, DP’d, or in most cases, both.
I’ve been fortunate to be a part of meaningful projects all around the world over the past decade. The people I have met in the places I’ve shot have shaped who I am today. I care deeply about our natural world, protecting wild places and giving a voice to the ones who need to be heard — I believe film and storytelling are powerful tools in the fight to leave a better world behind us.
If you have any questions about what roles I have had on the work here, don’t hesitate to reach out.
